Recipe for Toasted Cuban Sandwich
Cuban Panini
Giant White Bread 


  • 8 slices Aunt Millie's Giant White Bread
  • 1 1/2 lb. pork loin, sliced
  • 8 slices swiss cheese
  • 8 slices deli ham
  • 1/2 c. yellow mustard
  • 8 slices dill pickle
  • 8 Tbsp. butter, softenened

Yield: 4 Sandwiches


  1. Preheat panini maker, or medium skillet over high heat.
  2. Lay out 8 bread slices on counter. Spread 1 Tbsp. mustard on one side of each slice. Divide the pork, cheese, ham and pickles evenly among 4 bread pieces. Top with remaining bread slices to make a total of 4 sandwiches.
  3. Spread butter on both sides of each sandwich.
  4. Place sandwiches onto panini maker and grill about 5 minutes, or until golden and cheese is melted. Alternatively, grill the sandwich on both sides for a total of 5-8 minutes until golden and cheese is melted.
