Recipe for Veggie Sandwich
Grilled Veggie Sandwich
Honey Wheat Bread 


  • 4 slice Aunt Millie's Family Style Honey Wheat Bread
  • 1/3 cup hummus
  • 1 1/2 tsp. pesto
  • thinly sliced red peppers, green peppers, red onion, tomato
  • spinach leaves
  • 2 Tbsp. feta cheese

Yield: 2 sandwiches


  1. Mix hummus and pesto together
  2. Spread pesto mixture on one side of two slices of bread
  3. Alternately layer red pepper and green pepper on pesto mixture
  4. Top with sliced onions, tomato, and spinach leaves
  5. Sprinkle with feta cheese
  6. Spray panini maker with non-stick spray. Place sandwich in panini maker and toast 2-3 minutes.
