Pan de Jamon
Deli Mini Sub Buns 


  • ¼ lb provolone cheese, sliced very thin
  • ½ lb Honeybaked Ham slices
  • ¼ c green olives, stuffed with pimentos, sliced
  • 1 oz Sunmaid raisins
  • 2 T honey
  • 2 T mustard
  • 2 Aunt Millie’s Deli Mini Sub Buns
  • 2 slices Aunt Millie’s Family Style Honey Butter White Bread
  • Margarine
  • Toasted sesame seeds (optional)

Yield: 2 Sandwiches


  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Cover the raisins with water in a bowl, and microwave for 2 minutes to plump. Let stand for 15 minutes, then drain.
  3. Mix the honey and mustard together.
  4. Scoop out much of the bread center from both sides of the mini subs and discard.
  5. Flatten the bread slices with a rolling pin and cut off crusts.
  6. Lightly spread the sub bun insides with honey mustard.
  7. On a piece of waxed paper, created a layer the same width as the bun, for each sandwich, half of each: provolone, ham, flattened bread, then lightly spread with honey mustard.
  8. Sprinkle with olives, then raisins
  9. Roll up the layers into a spiral, and place the spiral inside the sub bun. Seal with the remains of the honey mustard.
  10. Lightly brush the top of the bun with margarine, then sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  11. Wrap the sandwich in foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  12. Cool slightly, unwrap, and slice.
