Pesto Grilled Cheese
Light Honey Wheat Bread 


  • 2 slices Aunt Millie's Healthy Goodness Light Honey Wheat Bread
  • 1 ½ ounce reduced fat Swiss cheese
  • 1 Tbsp. pesto
  • 4 slices Roma tomato

Yield: 1 sandwich


  1. Heat nonstick skillet over medium heat
  2. Spray one side of one slice of bread with nonstick butter flavored cooking spray and place in heated skillet
  3. Place cheese on top of bread in skillet and top with tomato slices
  4. Spread pesto on second slice of bread. Place this slice, pesto side down on top of sandwich in skillet.
  5. Spray second slice of bread with nonstick butter flavored cooking spray
  6. Cook sandwich until slightly brown (about 3 – 4 minutes).
  7. Turn sandwich over and cook an additional 2 – 3 minutes or until brown and cheese is melted.
