Traditional Reuben Sandwich
Seeded Rye Bread 


  • 4 slices Aunt Millie's Seeded Rye Bread
  • 8 slices of corned beef
  • 1/2 cup of sauerkraut, drained
  • 4 slices of swiss cheese
  • 4 Tbsp Thousand Island dressing
  • 2 Tbsp. butter

Yield: 2 Sandwiches


  1. Preheat griddle to medium-high heat.
  2. Spread each bread slice with 1/2 Tbsp. of butter.
  3. Turn over two slices and top with 2 slices of corned beef, then 1/4 cup of sauerkraut, and two slices of cheese. Finish with the remaining slices of corned beef.
  4. Top with the remaining two buttered bread slices.
  5. Place sandwich on grill and heat until browned lightly on both sides and cheese is melted.
